Develop and Execute Programmes
PFA chemicals have been an emerging contaminant for some time, however guidance and procedures for their investigation and remediation have only recently been established and made available to the public.
It is also acknowledged by the OHMS Environment team that there is current and on-going research into the investigation, management and assessment of impacts of PFAS on human and ecological health, such that much of the guidance is considered interim in nature.
Our team undertake these investigations in line with the guidance provided at both the State and National level including the Western Australian Department of Environment Regulation (now Department of Water and Environmental Regulation), Interim Guideline on the Assessment and Management of Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoralkyl Substances (PFAS), Contaminated Sites Guidelines, February 2016.
