Six modules are available, each delivered over five days through a blend of tutor-led instruction, hands-on training, practical assessments, and case studies. Courses are offered both in-person and online, with open-book exams on the final day.
International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene
On completion of all six modules – and with relevant experience – participants can progress toward the International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene (ICertOH). This requires the development of a Personal Learning Portfolio demonstrating the practical application of knowledge, followed by an assessment interview. Full details are available via BOHS.
Full Membership of the AIOH and COH Accreditation
For those without an approved postgraduate qualification, the ICertOH provides an alternative pathway to Full Membership of the AIOH. After completing the certificate and a successful interview, applicants may qualify for membership and, with sufficient experience, progress to Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH®) status.
