Dr. Elaine Lindars

DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL SERVICES, COH

Dr. Elaine Lindars is a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH) with 30 years’ experience in occupational, analytical and environmental chemistry. She has taught students for Royal Holloway College University of London, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University, the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) and Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB).

Experience

Her broad experience across environmental chemistry, occupational hygiene and emergency response has provided Elaine with unique skills and background to manage site health and occupational hygiene issues.

Elaine has worked as an atmospheric chemist with the UK Atomic Energy Authority & AEA Technology; at Curtin University & ECU; the ChemCentre as a researcher, hygienist & HazMat/CBR first responder; Rio Tinto as a hygiene specialist; and in consultancy.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Palaeontology & Geochemistry
  • Post graduate in Occupational Hygiene
  • B.Sc. (Hons) Environmental Chemistry
  • Diploma of Business
  • Environmental Auditor Certificate (ISO 14001) (NATA)
  • CONTAM Registered (WA)
