RED OHMS Group has entered a partnership with Greenfleet, taking climate action by offsetting the company’s carbon emissions through native reforestation across Australia.
Greenfleet is a leading not-for-profit environmental organisation that restores native forests to remove carbon, rebuild wildlife habitat and improve soil and water quality. Since 1997 it has planted more than 11.7 million native trees across over 580 forests in Australia and New Zealand. Every forest Greenfleet plants is legally protected, meaning the carbon it captures and the habitat it creates are secured for the long term.
For RED OHMS Group, the partnership extends a commitment that already sits at the centre of the business. Protecting people from harm in the workplace and protecting the environments those workplaces sit within are two sides of the same responsibility.
The partnership will continue as an ongoing programme, with emissions offset through Greenfleet’s native reforestation projects each year.
