Workplace noise remains one of the most common and most preventable causes of long-term harm at work, yet hearing damage frequently goes unnoticed until it is permanent. Regular audiometric testing establishes a baseline, identifies early changes in hearing and shows whether noise controls and hearing protection are performing as intended.
The service is delivered onsite using portable, field-ready equipment, from metro locations through to remote and high-risk environments. Disruption is minimal, with a quiet room the only site requirement. Testing can be combined with hearing protection and respiratory protection fit testing, spirometry and the broader occupational hygiene services RED OHMS Group provides, allowing clients to run a single coordinated health surveillance programme rather than several separate ones.
Reporting covers individual results, trend analysis, threshold shift identification and clear recommendations. All testing is delivered by trained personnel using calibrated equipment in line with AS/NZS 1269.4:2014.
