RED OHMS Group has been granted NATA accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia across its core asbestos laboratory services, formally recognising the laboratory’s capability to deliver accurate, reliable and compliant results to the highest standard.
The laboratory is now NATA accredited for asbestos bulk identification, identification of asbestos in soils, dust and ores, and counting of asbestos, mineral fibre and organic fibre in air samples, including volume measurement.
The accreditation carries a distinction that sets the laboratory apart. Where most Australian laboratories operate to a single standard for asbestos bulk identification, RED OHMS Group is among a very limited number accredited to both AS 5370:2024 and HSG 248 (Appendix 2). That dual accreditation is a material advantage for clients analysing asbestos in soils and bulk materials, particularly where results may be scrutinised.
Because the laboratory sits alongside the specialist OHMS Hazmat team, clients receive a fully integrated service from field sampling through to analysis and reporting.
