Ruairi Ward is Director of Operational Services and a Principal Occupational Hygienist with RED OHMS Group, bringing more than 20 years of experience across Europe and Australia in the pharmaceutical, mining, oil & gas, medical device and agricultural sectors. He oversees the delivery of occupational hygiene consultancy services, with a strong focus on customer service and practical, evidence-based solutions that safeguard workforce health. Ruairi holds a MSc in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Manchester and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the National University of Ireland (Galway). He is a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH®) with the AIOH, a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, a Chartered Member of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), and a Full Member of the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland (OHSI). Ruairi is a lecturer on the Mine Air Quality Technician (MAQT) and Mine Air Quality Officer (MAQO) courses in Western Australia and contributes to the profession through membership of the AIOH Ethics Committee, AIOH Strategic Risk and Audit Committee, and Workplace Health Without Borders.
