Leon Staude is Managing Director of RED OHMS Group and a highly experienced HSEC leader with 25 years of experience in the investigation, assessment and management of HSEC issues across the mining and industrial sectors. A values-based, people-focused and results-driven leader, Leon has extensive experience leading change across safety, health, environment, quality and community functions in large mining and mining services organisations. His expertise spans water management, compliance reporting, land rehabilitation, closure planning, contaminated sites and tailings management. Leon has held roles from managerial environmental and HSEC positions through to Head of Region for HSE, working across Australia, Indonesia, Africa and Europe with organisations including Rio Tinto, Billiton, Pasminco, Newmont and Orica. He holds a B.Sc. in Multidisciplinary Sciences and has held committee membership with both the NT and WA Chambers of Minerals and Energy.
