Ian Parker is Business Unit Leader overseeing the Hazardous Materials Divisions across the East Coast for RED OHMS Group, providing specialist technical advice and operational support across QLD, NT, NSW, VIC and ACT. With over 16 years of consulting and project management experience in hazardous materials testing and risk assessment across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Ian holds an Asbestos Assessors Licence (LAA) in Queensland along with a suite of BOHS qualifications including P402, P403, P404 and M502. He is a Technical Member of the Faculty of Asbestos Management of Australia & New Zealand (FAMANZ). Ian began his career in the UK as a UKAS accredited asbestos fibre counter and surveyor before relocating to Brisbane in 2012, where he has since built extensive expertise as a NATA-approved asbestos airborne fibre counter, signatory and laboratory manager.
