Elaine Lindars is Founder Director of RED OHMS Group and a Principal Occupational Hygienist with 38 years' experience across mining, government, research and consulting. A Certified Occupational Hygienist and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH), she is also a Chartered Chemist (RACI) and Certified OHS Practitioner (AIHS). Her career spans roles with the UK Atomic Energy Authority, AEA Technology, ChemCentre, Rio Tinto and consultancy, alongside academic positions with Curtin University, Edith Cowan University (Adjunct Professor) and the University of London. Elaine holds an Honours degree in Environmental Chemistry and a PhD in Geochemistry, with expertise in hazardous substances, asbestos, noise, radiation and thermal stress. She has served on AIOH boards and committees and is Secretary of Workplace Health without Borders Australia. She is a member of MAIOH/COH (AIOH), ACGIH, CPMSIA and RSP (SIA), and MRACI CChem (RACI).
